Seasonal change has a proufound impact on our health and wellness. The concept of yin and yang, as it relates to Traditional Chinese Medicine, reflects the energies around and within us that affect our bodies. The energy flow found within the body is referred to as Chi, and it is influenced by seasonal changes. The early days of fall, which tend to fluctuate between sunny days and cold rainy ones, can be a challenge to even the healthiest of immune systems. As the levels of moisture and temperature fluctuate the body can become confused as it tries to adjust and adapt. Such confusion can lower our body’s natural defense, giving pathogens the chance they need to attack our immune system. During this time of year remember to drink LOTS of water, even though many of us forget to with the cooler weather. Our body need proper hydration at all times, not just during a heat wave! Traditionally formulated herbal remedies can also help fortify our bodies’ defenses, such as Immuno Plus.
